Tips for building a fast car

Watch this video with your scout, and do follow as many or as few of the recommendations as you feel inspired.

My general recommendation for a fast car is:

• Decorate the car body *before* assembly.

• Ensure all parts together are as close to 5.00 oz as possible.

• File / polish your axles if you want.

• Mount your wheels and axles, and test for smooth rolling.  Try to get your car rolling straight and avoid wheels rubbing on car body.
